The server will already be setup with the OS you choose with or without a Cpanel/ISPConfig or Plesk interface according to your preference.

Access of your Virtual Server will vary depending on the OS and software used. Please use the guides below.

Server Access

• For Linux Virtual Servers you can SSH to the server with the IP address or Hostname of the server. This is provided in the Virtual Server Setup email and you may use Putty if you are trying to SSH from a windows machine.
• For Windows Virtual Servers you can access the server via the IP or hostname using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).

Web Console Access

• cPanel Console
  You can use the following address to access the cPanel/WHM console of your server:
  http://serverhostname/ipaddress:2087 and login with the appropriate username and password sent in your VPS activation email.
• ISPConfig Console
  The ISPConfig console of your server can access via http://serverhostname/ipaddress:8080 and login with the appropriate username and password sent in your VPS activation email.
• Plesk Console
  The Plesk interface of your windows VPS can be accessed via https://serverhostname/ipaddress:8443 and login with the appropriate username and password sent in your VPS activation email.

Power Management Console Access

• Linux VPS
  The VMware power management console for your Linux VPS server can be accessed via https://vsphere.au.syrahost.com:9443/vsphere-client/ and login with the appropriate username and password sent in your VPS activation email.
• Windows VPS
  The Virtuozzo power management console for windows VPS can be accessed via https://:4663 and login with the appropriate username and password sent in your VPS activation email.

In your WHM home screen, click 'Create New Account' under Account Functions.

To set up the domain:

1. Enter the new account's domain name in the Domain field.
   • An example of a proper domain: example.com.
2. Enter the new account's username into the Username field.
3. Enter the new account's password into the Password field.
   • Ensure that the user receives a secure password. You may obtain a secure password by clicking the 'Generate Password' button.
   • The account's password will be graded on a scale of 100 points. 0 is a weak password, while 100 is a very secure password.
4. Enter the account's main contact email address.
5. Continue to the Package section.
6. Click 'Create'

To suspend an account:

1. Select the account you would like to modify.
2. Click the checkbox to prevent your resellers from unsuspending the account.
3. Click 'Suspend or Unsuspend' to suspend or unsuspend the account, respectively.
4. If you are suspending the account, you may specify a reason in the text box.

* If the account is owned by a reseller, this may be valuable information so that the issue is quickly resolved.

In your WHM home screen, click 'Edit DNS Zone' under DNS Functions.

To edit a DNS zone:

1. Click the domain whose zone you wish to edit.
2. Click 'Edit'

# NS - A nameserver record. This specifies the hostname that clients will refer to when they look for your domain.
# A - An address record. This matches your domain name to an IP address.
# MX - A mail exchange record. This matches your domain name to a list of servers which handle mail for your domain, tagging each with a priority (the highest priority is 0).
# CNAME - A "canonical" name record, which matches your domain name to an alias. This is useful if you are running a server besides Apache, such as an FTP server, on a separate port.
